Snell & Wilmer Attorney Elected to the March of Dimes Utah Chapter Board of Directors

Sept. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- SALT LAKE CITY – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Jory P. Shoell, an associate in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the March of Dimes Utah Chapter.

The March of Dimes strives to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives the March of Dimes fulfills their mission. Each year the March of Dimes provides education for women of childbearing age and health professionals and provides grants to external organizations across the state to address unmet maternal and infant health needs.

Shoell’s practice is concentrated in landlord/tenant law, common-interest communities, real estate finance and mixed-use resort developments. He has been recognized by Mountain States Super Lawyers® as a rising star in 2010 and selected to the Utah Legal Elite by Utah Business magazine in 2011. Shoell earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor for the Law Review. Shoell earned his B.A. in History from Brigham Young University.
