Excel-eration Summit features women entrepreneurs sharing business success strategies

Sept. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- Go Beyond Network and e-Bella Magazine will host the second Women’s Excel-eration Summit on Oct. 18 from 1-5 p.m. at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Fla. The event features women entrepreneurs presenting business opportunities to potential investors and highlights innovators sharing how they developed technologies which can be licensed for future growth businesses.

The half day event will feature speaker, Lisa Phoenix, co-founder of Fort Myers based Golden Girls. Phoenix will share how her company has achieved success as the largest home party buyer of gold, silver and platinum in North America. A panel discussion by local experts will focus on “Building a Growth Company”. The Women’s Excel-eration Summit also includes presentations by four entrepreneurs showcasing their companies and two innovators presenting their breakthrough technologies to potential investors.

Women owned businesses continue to grow exponentially, said Bethann Kassman, Go Beyond Network’s CEO. There are more than eight million women owned businesses in the United States generating nearly $1.3 trillion in revenue, according to the “State of Women Owned Businesses Report” published by American Express Open.  

“Learning from and being mentored by successful business leaders has been the key to success for many of those entrepreneurs and innovators,” Kassman added. “The Women’s Excel-eration Summit is a unique opportunity for participants to learn from those who’ve launched successful ventures, and even to put their ideas and investment opportunities in front of those who can move them toward entrepreneurial success.”
