Barnegat High School Tennis Challenger League resumes 2011 season

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 7, 2011 - Barnegat High School Tennis Team has received an United States Tennis Association Grant for their work with Challenger League athletes, which pairs up the Barnegat High School Girls Tennis Team and a few Boys Tennis Team volunteers with local multiple disabled children with a one on one hour long tennis lesson each week all year round.

Girls Tennis Team Head Coach Sue Rogers is asking to help get the word about this community service and the impact it has had on both the Barnegat High School Tennis Team members and the children who participate.  This type of service not only provides chidren with one on one interaction, it builds sportsmanship and community spirit. The Challenger League is a model for high school and atheltic teams to encourage participation and advance understanding of the sport.
