Welsh, a native of the U.K., was raised in Ireland and educated at Shannon College of Hotel Management and Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. For 7 years Welsh held the position of general manager at The Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia; for 10 years prior, he was the general manager of Walker Cay Hotel and Marina in the Bahamas. Welsh’s other positions include vice president of operations for Walden Inn, Spa and Country Club in Aurora, Ohio and hotel positions in New York, Philadelphia, Zurich, London and Dublin.
Jones, a Washingtonian, was raised in Asia and Europe and received a degree in history from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. His hotel career began in Washington, D.C. but later took him to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, London, Dubai and Bahrain where he held the position of director of sales and marketing with Intercontinental Hotels and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
