“We have a close relationship with our readers through Twitter and our online bridal forum and a strong understanding of what they are looking for. Real-life weddings are always a popular element of the magazine and so we chose Helen (who is not a model) as our real-life bride for the cover of our special 100th edition,” states Wedding Ideas magazine Editor Rachel Morgan. “This may be seen as a bold move, but this is a magazine that has always put its reader at the heart of its content.”
A 32-page special real wedding supplement comes free with the main 372-page magazine, again featuring a real-life bride (only bagged with selected copies going into WH Smith, Tesco, Tesco Express, Asda and Boots).
The special souvenir edition of Wedding Ideas magazine includes over £10,000 worth of competition prizes and giveaways. Two honeymoons (the Maldives and Thailand) are to be won, a bridal gown with all the accessories, a wedding cake, five pairs of wedding and bedroom furnishings from Next worth £900.
The supermarket-
