Kritikal showcases its revolutionary innovations Trazer and KLiPR at InTranSe 2011

KLiPR: KLiPR is the state-of-the-art automated number plate recognition system that enables real time identification of vehicles by capturing and analyzing moving vehicles number plate using live camera feeds. KLiPR is based on advanced pattern recognition, image processing and artificial intelligence techniques. The system uses Kritikal’s proprietary localization & segmentation algorithms for detection and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine for reading number plates in any language. TRAZER: Trazer is a real-time non-intrusive video processing system that enables counting, classification and verification in dense traffic. It facilitates Automatic Traffic Counting and Classification (ATCC) applications, Video based Incident Detection (VID), Vehicle sensing for signal control, traffic planning by analyzing and computing useful features and data from traffic videos. Trazer is designed considering the traffic scenarios of developed as well as developing nations thus catering to a wide variety of vehicular types and heterogeneous traffic patterns. It is the only traffic analyzing system that can effectively detect and classify 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers and slow moving vehicles in heterogeneous traffic conditions without assuming lane discipline. A single camera can process 3-4 lanes. Further, it is possible to use Trazer software suite using off the shelf standard cameras which may be pre-deployed – Trazer effectively makes ‘dumb’ cameras intelligent! One can also use Trazer software to analyze pre-recorded videos also.
