Teen singing sensation Neenah Taylor performs Sun, October 16, 2011 at the Sherman Oaks Fair in L.A.

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Sixteen year-old Soul/Pop singer/songwriter Neenah Taylor was selected by Venture House Productions and The Bar and Restaurant Society as opening act for a series of concert dates. On Sunday, October 16, 2011 the young vocal powerhouse will entertain audiences at the 2011 Sherman Oaks Street Fair in Los Angeles after heading back into the recording studio with producer Brandon Jarrett (Moho Productions) to record songs for her upcoming debut album (Mallia Music Group).

At 16 years-old Neenah Taylor started turning heads with her very mature and emotional voice at the tender age of seven. Her voice garnered her awards at such prestigious competitions as the Atlantic Records Showcase and the national Uplifting Minds II Entertainment Conference’s talent showcase. Neenah went on to perform as opening act for such high-profile artists as Trey Songz and Angie Stone. Recently, this protégé’ child went back into the recording studio with producer/songwriter Brandon Jarrett (Nickelodeon’s Ashley Argota) to work on her upcoming debut untitled album.  

Venture House Production and The Bar and Restaurant Society chose the protégé’ child to perform as opening act at a series of concert performances (see one of the most recent opening act performances at the Whiskey A-GoGo Club at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bT1bbryWpI&feature=youtu.be). Other future venue dates may include The Cabana Club, House of Blues and the Viper Room. On Sunday, October 16th Neenah will perform for audiences at the 2011 Sherman Oaks Street Fair.



Also an actress/model Neenah Taylor has appeared in commercials for Chrysler and Apple Computer, co-stars with Image Award winning actor Kadeem Hardison in the feature film Sister Switch and appeared in the movie Invisible Man. Neenah has also starred in musical stage-plays such as “The Wiz” and “It’s Not About You.”

As a model Neenah has appeared in print ads for the U.S. Postal Service and National Geographic Education. Taylor has recently posed for Hernan Photography (www.hernanphotography.com).
