Des Plaines Resident Selected as “Hero in Long-Term Care”

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 6, 2011 - Des Plaines resident Omar Villamil was recently selected a “hero” in long-term care by the Health Care Council of Illinois. Omar, who is a housekeeper at Alden Courts of Des Plaines Memory Care Assisted Living Community in Des Plaines, was recognized for positively impacting the facility’s ‘quality of life’ and his commitment to serving the needs of the patients, residents and their families. He is one of nearly 100 individuals throughout Illinois who were honored as part of National Nursing Home Week. Villamil received a certificate of recognition.

“Omar is an excellent employee who is highly respected by all his co-workers and  very well-liked by our residents,” says Cara Oberheide, Executive Director, Alden Courts of Waterford Memory Care Assisted Living Community. “He has a positive attitude that impacts the quality of his work.
