Orrick Marketing Solutions Ltd Cheers on David Walliams Marathon 140 mile Swim

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Speaking to Jamie Orrick Managing Director of Orrick Marketing Solutions he says “what an inspiration David is, he is mentally and physically ready for this challenge and I am sure he will do great ”. The Little Britain star is swimming the length of the River Thames from Gloucestershire to Big Ben in London. The swim will take 8 days and is 120 miles longer than his last swim across the English Channel. Waliams started at the river's source near Lech lade, Gloucestershire on Monday and is expected to take eight days and has so far raised more than £91,450 for charity.

Orrick Marketing Solutions is taken aback at the marathon undertaking ahead for Walliams. The distance is equivalent to swimming the Channel seven times. Walliams swam the Channel successfully for Sport Relief in 2006. He will also burn the equivalent of 4,400 calories every day whilst battling powerful and unpredictable currents and undertows.
