C&S United Way Campaign Sets New Donation Record

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 6, 2011 - C&S Wholesale Grocers surpassed the million dollar mark in its annual United Way campaign, raising $1,178,959 through employee pledges and a dollar-for-dollar corporate match. The funds raised will benefit 105 United Way chapters throughout the country.

C&S’ commitment to the United Way has grown to include the Company’s subsidiaries: ES3, Grand Union, Southern Family Markets and CasePick Systems. “These results are a testament to the generosity of our employees and their willingness to give back to their communities,” said Rick Cohen, C&S CEO. ”I’m proud that C&S continues to be among the United Way’s Global Corporate Leaders.”
