Performance Enhancement Incentives Hosts Executive Educational Summit in Dublin, Ireland

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Performance Enhancement Incentives (PEI), a leading full-service incentive company, announced that it hosted a successful Executive Educational Summit in Dublin, Ireland this past June.  The goal of the summit was twofold:  (1) to introduce attendees to some of the many unique advantages of holding a meeting or incentive award program in Dublin, and (2) provide expert insight into legal aspects of hosting international meetings and incentives for companies in the United States.

During the 4-day event, summit attendees visited several hotels and restaurants as well as some of the unique attractions in Dublin.  Hotel executives conducted site tours to demonstrate their ability to manage groups of all sizes, arrange meetings, and provide exceptional food and service for their guests.  Widely acclaimed Wallace Travel Group acted as DMC (Destination Management Company) for the Summit and provided transportation along with guided tours of Trinity College, Malahide Castle as well as a traditional pub crawl through some of the most famous gathering places in Dublin.  Attendees also visited Guinness Brewery and Old Jameson Distillery, experiencing classic Irish hospitality and entertainment along the way.

The keynote speaker at the summit was Jonathan T. Howe, Esq., President and Senior Partner of Howe & Hutton, Ltd.   Howe has written books, papers and hundreds of articles, and has spoken to organizations around the world on legal issues concerning meetings and incentive awards.  His specialty is in the area of design of incentive awards with tax implications in mind.  Howe conducted an educational session for summit attendees on the tax and legal aspects of international versus domestic meetings, and the inclusion of incentive travel in a company’s overall incentive program.
