PRLog - Sep. 6, 2011 - INDIANAPOLIS -- Brian Wansink, PhD, the John Dyson Professor of Consumer Behavior at Cornell University, began his term as president of the Society for Nutrition Education during the 2011 SNE Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO on July 25. He accepted the presidential gavel from Tracy Fox, MPH, RD, 2010-2011 SNE President.
Other board members transitioning into new offices are President-Elect Linda Drake, MS, University of Connecticut and Vice President Joanne Ikeda, MA, RD, University of California, Berkeley. Recently elected to the SNE Board of Directors are Kari Bachman, MA, New Mexico State University and Mary Murimi, PhD, RD, LDN, Louisiana Tech University. Sarah Colby, PhD, RD, University of Tennessee, also joined the board in her role as acting chair of the SNE Advisory Committee on Public Policy.
