The results revealed that only 22 percent of people buy hair care products online. Out of this number, only 7.5 percent of women and men by these kinds of beauty products online on a regular basis.
951 people from all over the world, mostly women and most coming from the USA, took part in the survey. The results are as follows:
The question asked: Do you buy hair care products online?
1. 742 or 78% answered: No way, I never buy them online.
2. 138 or 14.5% answered: Sure, I buy them from time to time.
3. 72 or 7.5% answered: Yes, I buy them on a regular basis.
“I must admit that we were very surprised at the results of the survey. We did not know that so many people do not buy hair care products on the internet,” said Aleksandar Jelich, the editor-in-chief of Hair-Styles-
“As we were analyzing the results of the survey, one thought popped up in our minds: how much money would online beauty stores make if 15% of people bought hair products on a regular basis? They would double their revenue,” said Jelich.
“To help online beauty stores achieve this number, we are planing a new survey that will ask our visitors why they do not buy hair care products online or why they do not purchase them more often. We are very excited about this new poll and we hope that we will find out what prevents people from buying on the internet,” said Jelich.
