Sept. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- A Dynamap patient monitor will provide you with a highly reliable and automated blood pressure reading, predictive temperature, as well as SpO2 and a patient’s pulse rate with its special Dynamap technology. This has been shown to be more clinically reliable than the technology of other patient monitors. It is very easy and fast to measure pulse and blood pressure. You simply put the blood pressure cuff in its proper place, and then push a gray knob to take the reading.

The IVAC TurboTemp technology will give medical practitioners a highly precise temperature reading in a mere seven seconds or under.

Another helpful feature with a Dynamap is that it has various blood pressure cycle time options. It is preset from the factory at three minutes. However, the medical professional can set up the blood pressure measuring frequency in a number of increments – between one and 120 minutes. Also, the user can do it manually. The result of the most latest blood pressure reading will display for up to one hour and a half (90 minutes) on automatic setting, or for two minutes on the manual setting.

The alarm features on the Dynamap are very convenient for medical professionals who have to multi-task. There is a quick alarm test when you flip on the power to the unit.

There also is an alarm if no reading is determined, and there is a constant alarm signal if the microprocessor gets an error. There are audible alarms with various diagnostic codes that will display in the pulse rate window in case of a failure of the system.

The battery for this monitor is a sealed lead acid 12 volt, and the unit will function for a minimum of two hours. There will be longer battery life if you read vital signs less often than 5 minutes.  There also is a warning for low battery. There is an LED that flashes, and also an audio alert that lets the medical professional know of a battery that is low on charge. It can be carried by the attached handle, or it may be attached to a rolling stand so it can be easily rolled from room to room as needed.
