Retired archaeologist, author and broadcaster Dr. Peter J. Shield was amongst the specially invited guests at the Atomic Testing Museum’s celebration and round table on Nuclear Disarmament “Two Decades Without Nuclear Weapons Testing” in commemoration of United Nations International Day Against Nuclear Tests held at the Nevada’s Atomic Testing Museum on Thursday Sept.1st, 2011. Other guests included His Excellency Mr. Erlanidrissov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United States.
Dr Shield was recently invited to present his lecture on “Visitors from Outer Space”, a look at the possibility of Alien intervention on archaeological sites around the world, as an introduction to the Smithsonian Institute’s Atomic Testing Museum’s 2012 exhibit on Area 51, long assumed to be the home of the US governments secret store house for Extra Terrestrial evidence, made even more creditable by the immensely popular film “Independence Day”.
Dr. Shield has expanded his cruise lecture series on space travel and the possibility of alien visits to include a look at Area 51 and the Atomic testing site in the Nevada Desert.
His recent lecture to the members of the Museums supporters and executives was an outstanding success and plans are underway to incorporate Dr. Shield’s lecture in the proposed events for next year.
