PRLog - Sep. 5, 2011 - The Private Home+Public Art Project is hosting a commemoration of 9/11 on the tenth anniversary. PH+P Art is asking artists to install public art projects on private property to commemorate 9/11. Installed works can then be posted on the Private Home+Public Art Facebook page. We encourage work to be installed and posted over the next month. Responses will be collected in an online album. 9/11/11 is a global call and seeks responses from artists world-wide. The criterion for submission is that the work is publicly accessible, preferably site-specific and viewable 24/7. Performance and video pieces should include times.
Interested artists and property owners should visit the Private Home+Public Art page and the Remembering 9/11/11 event on Facebook.

About PH+P Art --
Established in 2006, the Private Home+Public Art Project Project promotes the installation of public art on private property. We feature artists who use the exterior of their homes and studios to exhibit and perform work, while encouraging collaborations between artists and property owners. Through the PH+P Art Project, artists have complete aesthetic control over the work and direct access to the public. The public, in turn, benefits from a visually rich, intellectually stimulating streetscape. Property owners who provide venues can enable projects that might not happen otherwise and have the added benefit of behind-the-scenes access to the artistic process.
