PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 4, 2011 - Livonia, Michigan – While most are preparing for the kids to go back to school and taking advantage of what summer has left to offer, Psychic Medium Kristy Robinett is planning and plotting out October’s Haunting events that will wrap participants up in ghostly adventures, spooky journeys and the unexplained.

Kristy Robinett , a professional psychic medium and author began speaking with spirits at the age of three.  After working in corporate life for several years, she opened her business in Livonia and is now an acclaimed Psychic Medium, Intuitive Consultant and Psychic Detective, donating her time assisting law enforcement agencies.  She also performs psychic home inspections for home buyers, haunted house investigations, lecturer at special events, and owner of Tangled Wishes (www.tangledwishes.com) and Haunted Hideaways (www.hauntedhideaways.com).

“My business is quite unusual as I offer an up close and paranormal experience with the Other Side. Through lectures, private and public paranormal investigations and other haunting events, I bring what most fear to the forefront with fun, humor and realism. There is nobody hiding under tables or special effects at the events, it is what it is. Folklore and history is fascinating and who doesn’t love a good ghost story or a mystery?  I can’t snap my fingers and produce a ghost or spirit, however Haunted Hideaways gives you the stories, the experience and then lets you decide.”

This year, Haunted Hideaway has something spooky for every level of thrill-seekers from:

•   Hear tales of dark secrets, strange rituals and things that go bump in the night at A Haunted Night at Plymouth Historical Museum in Plymouth, Michigan.  Also participate in a Victorian séance.
•   In the haunted church at Mill Race Village in Northville, Michigan participate in a séance, hear spooky stories and use paranormal equipment to see if the haunted rumors are true.
•   Participate in a Scavenger Haunt, err… scavenger hunt that gives you clues which may lead you to some tricks or maybe some treats.  Not a race, but a historical and haunting trivia type of hunt through the town of Northville.  This is a spooktacular fun event for families and friends.

“While the UK has always kept an open mind with regards to the paranormal, the USA still has a cloud of doubt.  It has even been recently announced that Prince William and his wife Kate will be opening the Palace to ghost tours after their own recent encounter with that which went bump in the night.  I am not in the business of convincing, but instead of offering the experience.”

Robinett is also the author of Ghosts of Southeast Michigan (Schiffer Publishing) and Michigan’s Haunting Legends and Lore (release date Spring 2012). To participate in your own haunted experience, contact Kristy Robinett at www.hauntedhideaways.com.

Additional information and online ticketing available at www.hauntedhideaways.com.
