Many Rivers will also kick off their Autumn Food Drive on October 1. They will be collecting non-perishable food items to support the Windsor Food Bank from October 1 through October 7. Canned goods, pasta, pasta sauce, and meal makers (Hamburger Helper, Knorr soup mixes, etc.) are especially appreciated. In addition, Many Rivers will donate 10% of their profits from the week to the Food Bank.
Many Rivers is part of the community acupuncture movement, which is working to make health care affordable and accessible. Acupuncture can be effective for all kinds of pain, including back pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, and heel pain. Acupuncture can also help with internal disorders such as digestive problems, allergies, and gynecological issues.
The clinic is located at 44 Bloomfield Avenue in downtown Windsor. For more information, contact Carrie Sawtell at (860) 683-0011 or go to www.manyriversacupuncture.com.
