CMIT Solutions’ Beth Burnside Recognized by CRN Magazine as One of the Top Women of the Channel

Sept. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Erie, PA (September 2, 2011) – CRN Magazine has named Beth Burnside of CMIT Solutions of Erie, which is a premier provider of information technology solutions and services to small and medium-sized businesses, as one of the preeminent Women of the Channel.

The annual list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments as executives as well as their influence over the technology channel.  This year’s Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN Magazine, which is a division of Everything Channel, from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.

Burnside and her team have built an established reputation as the go-to provider for information technology solutions and services. Along the way, she managed CMIT’s exponential growth in the Erie market. “Our success is also tied to our parent company (CMIT Solutions) and its many resources, the strong participation of our partners and the willingness of our customers to trust us,” said Burnside.

This was hardly Burnside’s first honor. Earlier this year, her office was presented with the prestigious 2011 All-Star Award by CMIT Solutions. Additionally, Burnside received CMIT’s Momentum award in 2010 for significant continued growth. Locally, Burnside was recently chosen for Erie’s 2011 Athena PowerLink program to receive year-long coaching and mentoring from an advisory panel that will help her facilitate business networking, access capital and implement best business practices.
