Emil’s Sausage Kitchen, Inc. Wins 2011 Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award

Sept. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- With a jump in its ratings from 4 stars in 2010 to a 4.5-star rating in 2011, Emil’s Sausage Kitchen, Inc. has won the prestigious CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award for the second consecutive year providing excellent customer service.

The award, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media, honors companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers and converted into a star rating; only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.

Emil’s Sausage Kitchen, Inc. was founded in 1954 and was open for business during the winter months only. In April 1999, Walter and Jutta Voos moved to the United States from Germany and purchased the business. Walter had been working as a meat cutter for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) for nearly 15 years. Today, he brings that experience to Emil’s Sausage Kitchen, continuing the store’s tradition of creating and selling high-quality meats.

Emil’s Sausage Kitchen is a small, family-owned-and-operated business. The two put in long days with Walter in the kitchen and Jutta running the storefront like clockwork. According to Walter, the European work ethics that he and his wife bring to the store help set it apart from the competition. “Always friendly, always clean, always there and always on time,” he says. “Our top quality speaks for itself. We use all fresh products and everything is made from scratch with no preservatives, no MSG, no flour, sugar or nitrates. Always natural, always fresh.”

Walter and Jutta place a strong emphasis on customer service, so it’s no wonder they have multiple customer satisfaction awards under their belt. “The main mission is to keep the customer happy and satisfied,” says Walter. “We bring European quality and know-how to a place that is almost totally overrun by fast food or pre-fabricated supermarket foods. We would like to show you that not all of our things are bad for you. There is no need for all of those fats, additives and chemicals that no one even knows what they are.”

In addition to providing high-quality products, Walter and Jutta treat customers to a smile and warm welcome every time they come in the store. “Knowing your customers and their needs, and treating each customer like your best one are also part of excellent customer service,” says Walter.
