Announcing Change in Performance Line-up for Mercy Music's Journey Concert Series

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- PENSACOLA, FL –  Mercy Music Inc. announces a new performance line up for its upcoming concert for “Journey Concert Series – Part 2.” Along with Gospel Hip Hop Artist/Vocalist Gershon Hamel (AKA “Ger Get’m”), I.Q. and DJ Cleo are now added to the line up to replace rap artist New Since previously slated to perform.  Mercy Music Inc.’s “Journey Concert Series, Part 2” will be held on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th, 2011 at 7:00pm.  

Hamel is already creating a lot of buzz in the Pensacola area since his electrifying and well-received performance at the OUTPOUR Youth Conference along side of Grammy-nominated gospel hip-hop artist Da’ T.R.U.T.H. earlier this month. “Journey, Part 2” concert is a continuation from a previous performance that occurred earlier this summer. It is also a family event to include food, fun, amazing music and ministry to the youth in the community.

The concert will be held at Calvary Christian Center, 939 Massachusetts Ave. in Pensacola, FL. Doors will open at 6pm and the concert promptly starting at 7pm.

Hamel is the Founder/CEO of Mercy Music, Inc.   He is a recording artist and also has several artists in development on his own independent label.  In addition, he is also responsible for several youth and community initiatives through Mercy Music, Inc., such as the most recent Walk for Unity to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House.  He also finished taping a video for his first single “Yours” from his upcoming debut CD. “Yours” is slated to be released on September 6th and released to radio by the end of the month.  He is also slated to release his debut album in October 2011.
