PRLog - Sep. 2, 2011 - Boston Interactive, a Boston-based web design and interactive marketing agency, proudly announces the launch of a new website for Second Time Around (STA), an upscale chain of consignment stores with locations in ten states and who partners with over 50,000 consignors. STA sought to launch a website reflective of their eye for style to coincide with their upcoming Bravo TV reality show Fashion Hunters. They partnered with Boston Interactive to build a website that would create a seamless transition from the in-store experience to their online presence.
Having caught the attention of producers at Bravo TV, STA’s reality show Fashion Hunters, which documents the STA Fashionistas as they scour New York City in search of pre-owned designer clothes and accessories, is scheduled to air this fall. Aiming to turn viewers into life-long customers, STA was in need of a complete website redesign. Boston Interactive created a website reflective of the designer brands and one that communicates the unique benefits of shopping with STA. Boston Interactive met the fast-track schedule by dividing the project into two phases – a general public facing website and a secure login portal, with phase 1 launching in conjunction with the show.
Boston Interactive created a dynamic website that positions STA as an upscale shopping experience. The sleek design incorporates social media as well as an online store where users can directly purchase merchandise. Built using the Smartwebs content management system, Boston Interactive integrated valuable user tools such as site search and a robust store locator. Phase 2 of the project, the secure login portal, is slated for a winter launch.
