PRLog (Press Release)
- Sep. 1, 2011 -
Airplanista Magazine’s September, 2011 issue marks an important milestone for the new media digital publication, and represents one year of publishing content that tells the stories of pilots, aviation enthusiasts and “Airplanistas”
who enjoy the excitement and freedom of flying private airplanes for business or pleasure.
“Our magazine’s mission is to celebrate the people in our aviation family that love aviation,” said Airplanista Editor/Publisher Dan Pimentel. “The true definition of an ‘Airplanista’
can be a licensed pilot, a non-flying member of the public who might like to learn to fly, people in the aviation and aerospace industries, or anyone who keeps their eyes to the sky hoping to see an airplane fly overheard. Many of these Airplanistas have devoted their lives to aviation and advocate for GA to the public, or volunteer their time doing important work such as introducing the next generation of pilots to flying. We focus our editorial content on the people behind today’s most exciting aviation topics while also presenting stunning aviation imagery from top aviation photographers.”
Airplanista Magazine is an all-digital monthly new media magazine published online at http://www.airplanista.com

s Editors utilize social networks like Twitter every day to create a digital connection between publication and reader that embraces the interactivity that only digital publishing can provide. “For each issue, we obtain story ideas, content and suggestions from our readers in real-time,” Pimentel said. “As a digital only magazine, we succeed in making our readers feel like part of the creative process, and as a result, our readership is growing with each issue.”
