Custom Drains an Every Day Product at OMG

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Agawam, MA - Although OMG’s full line of OlyFlow roof drains accommodates most installation requirements, there are occasions when an unusual condition occurs at a drain location.  In such instances, the standard drain may need to be modified or custom designed to fit the particular site conditions.

The most frequently requested custom drains are those with longer length stems, up to 16” and 18”, whereas an off the shelf drain typically has a stem length between 9 and 12 inches.  OMG Roofing Products has the capability to make stems longer than 18 inches and has in the past made them up to four feet long.  In addition, the OMG Roofing Products team can make angled or 90-degree stems.  Other common requests are drains with leaders as small as one inch and up to 12 inches in diameter.  Standard size leaders are between three and six inches in diameter.  

OMG also receives and fulfills custom requests for drains needing to be placed in odd areas of the rooftop such as tight corners, box-gutters, and close to the edges.
