Following the successful international photographic exhibit “Fashion Stills – Si la mode m’était contée” last year, Sofitel Luxury Hotels and French Polka Galerie renew their precious teamwork. The exhibit, which was already toured many Sofitel destinations during the past months, is finally arriving in the Eternal City to display its incredible works of art to the Roman community.
On September 2nd the exhibit will open with photos of the filmmaking industry as seen trough the eyes of four great French photographers whose work can be seen in the Polka gallery in Paris: Alain Loison; Emanuele Scocelletti;
Founded in 2007 by two brothers, Adélie de ipanema and Edward Genestar, the French Polka gallery represnts the greatest photographers around the world and supports new talents. The gallery, on 12 rue Saint-Gilles has three exhibition rooms and a photographic bookshop containing rare editions.
Johnny Depp, Sophie Marceau, Woody Allen and Jane Birkin are all featured in the exhibit “On-set / Off-set”, Des instants de Cinema”, alongside wonderful backstage shots or others taken during important Art Week festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival.
All the common areas of the hotel will be involved in the exhibition starting from the hall to the bar “Club Le Boston”, the foyer, the meeting rooms, as well as the restaurant and cocktail bar La Terrasse Cuisine & Lounge.
