Amanda’s Big World Adventure Takes on Exploring Modeling, Teaching, Viniculture & Conservation

Sept. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- What is your passion? What fuels the adventurer inside of you? Amanda grew up with a grandmother and mother who had a love for the world. One opened her eyes to the beauty of the different cultures and the understanding of the differences; the other showed her the art of travel. Today’s world community, young and old, is looking for the connection with each other and the opportunity to learn and grow from each other. Most are bound by responsibilities or economic factors that prevent them from traveling and exploring, missing out on meaningful connections with the places they would go and the people they would meet. Amanda is the new adventurer who will be taking her readers on the real experience of travel – vicariously, through her work and volunteer adventures around the globe.

Amanda has planned out a trip that will last 15 months, 3 months or more in each location,  taking you on an in-depth exploration of that country, its people and the culture. Focusing on her strengths and her upbringing between the city and the farm, she will be the girl-next-door who tries her hand at everything in a classy beauty queen McGyver-style of adventure. Hong Kong to delve into the fashion world by modeling; Nepal to teach Tibetan refugees English and to help improve the school; Spain to work in a vineyard as she studies for her Wine Specialist Certification exam; South America to work in the jungle teaching and helping with conservation efforts and finishing the trip with an extra month to Argentina visiting an estancia, touring vineyards and exploring the country.

Why is this trip important? “It’s about following passion,” remarked Amanda. “It has been said that if you follow your passion you will never work a day in your life. I would love to share my passion of travel, photography and education with everyone as we take off on a very inspiring journey around the world. I’m going to be using my lifetime of skills and abilities to help make an improvement in other people’s lives. I want to share that with whoever would like to follow, explore and learn.”
