By: Guida's Milk Guida’s Milk will deliver a full trailer of spring water to the Connecticut Food Bank in East Haven tomorrow, September 1st, 2011 to assist CT residents who have been without power and water. “We are trying to do our part as a local company to help our local community.” says Michael Guida, the President of Guida’s Milk. Guida’ This is not the first natural disaster where Guida’s Supercow has come to the rescue. The Connecticut Food Bank website has launched a Hurricane Irene Virtual Food Drive where you can purchase food online for the hurricane victims. Janet Kniffin, the Chief Development Officer at Connecticut Food Bank, said they anticipate their biggest draw next week. They have a high demand for relief supplies and non-perishable items such as tuna, peanut butter, granola bars and canned fruit.
