Vancouver, BC – Laziza Modern Mediterranean has already made a name for itself on the Vancouver restaurant scene. Since opening its doors earlier this year, the buzz has been growing about the classy Davie Street restaurant which serves up fresh and delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a twist. But now there is something else to talk about – Laziza has listened to its’ customers and now has a complete menu of free-range, hormone-free organic meats, sourced locally – as well as a gluten-free selection of fantastic food choices.
Laziza menu items such as the chicken in the Chicken Wrapped Prawns, Maqanik (spicy lamb sausages) and the classic Lamb Shank have their key ingredients brought in from Langley farms where only the freshest, free-range, hormone-free organic products make the cut.
The gluten-free menu items came about because of a real gap in the market when it comes to Vancouverites who find it hard to eat out at restaurants because of special dietary needs.
Laziza owner Hassan Myhoob says: “I’ve had many conversations with customers who really care about the food they get when they eat at restaurants. Many of them are genuinely interested in whether the supplier is reputable, if the food is organic and some of them can’t eat a lot of things on many restaurant menus. We didn’t want our customers to worry about that, so we have made the switch to make sure they are confident what they’re eating is as healthy as it can possibly be.”
