Third Annual Abilities Unlimited, Inc. Golf Tournament

Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- SAVANNAH, GA – Abilities Unlimited is proud to announce the Third  Annual Abilities Unlimited, Inc. Golf Tournament on Monday, September 12.  The tournament will benefit Abilities Unlimited and citizens with disabilities in Chatham County and the surrounding areas.  It will be held at the Savannah Club.  

The tournament will feature teams competing in a four-person scrambler, putting contest, drawings and door prizes.  The event will kick-off with a sponsor lunch at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. For more information about the event, please contact Mark Schreiber at (912) 596-4813 Rhonda Langford at (912) 351-3504.

Abilities Unlimited was founded in 1998 with the mission of providing opportunities for special needs children and adults to regularly participate in specifically designed exercise programs to enhance health, independence and socialization in a community atmosphere.  501(c)3 status was established in 2007.

Abilities Unlimited offers students with disabilities programs, progressive exercise programs for children and adults and Special Olympics training.  Abilities Unlimited programs promote a sense of value and belonging in our community. Participants are offered opportunities and taught skills to regain and improve life skills, mobility and independence.
