Euro-Basketball Pro Elton Brown Launches Leap Of Faith Skateboarding Premier Amateur Skateboarding

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 31, 2011 - Vista, CA -- Leap Of Faith Skateboarding (LOF), a new skateboarding apparel company that sponsors and develops amateur skateboarders, announced today the official launch of their company website www.lofskateboarding.com. The site includes enhanced inter-active features geared towards the skateboarding world, as well as LOF gear and skateboarding accessories.

LOF offers a unique and comprehensive athletic development program. The company recruits the most talented, hardworking and passionate skaters and helps them highlight their talents in nationwide demos and competitive settings under the “Dream Team” moniker.

Pro European basketball player Elton Brown and childhood friend Jason Gaffney both Newport News, VA natives, founded LOF in 2009. The company name Leap Of Faith derives from a basketball player and his best-friend deciding to take a “leap of faith”, by coming out of their comfort zone of basketball and exploring the world of skateboarding.

The company’s objective is “to become an intentional powerhouse in the skateboard world,” says Brown, co-founder of LOF.  

LOF will provide its skaters with two levels of sponsorship programs:  

DREAM TEAM
Amateur skaters that have proven themselves repeatedly are characterized as hard working, passionate, naturally skilled, and truly dedicated to the world of competitive amateur skateboarding. Skaters at this sponsorship level will receive ad and marketing promotions, shared travel, contest
entry fees, photo incentives, as well as a healthy supply of LOF gear to relentlessly promote the brand.
 
FLOW TEAM
Skaters that successfully grab their attention are best defined as those that have been dedicated to working hard on developing their skating skills, promoting their brand, entering contests and generating buzz. Skaters at this sponsorship level will periodically receive a small amount of select gear in exchange for their commitment to furthering their skill level and promoting the LOF brand.
