Rainforest Partnership is spreading its roots into the Bay Area! Rainforest in the Redwoods will be Rainforest Partnership’s introductory event into the San Francisco community. Join us on September 8th from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m. at 144 2nd Street.
 
Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Rainforest Partnership is spreading its roots! Founded in 2007 in Austin, TX, Rainforest Partnership is expanding into the Bay Area. Rainforest in the Redwoods will be Rainforest Partnership’s introductory event into the San Francisco community.  

The event will take place on September 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the offices of Rainforest Partnership’s online fundraising platform, Rally. These offices are located just four blocks from Montgomery BART Station at 144 2nd St. The event will include film screenings from Rainforest Partnership’s annual film contest event, Films for the Forest (http://www.filmsfortheforest.org), as well as a short documentary on Rainforest Partnership. Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Join Rainforest Partnership’s Executive Director, Niyanta Spelman, and Rainforest Partnership team members, as well as other environmentally conscious individuals, for a chance to network, get involved and learn more about rainforest protection and the importance of working with the people who live in and around rainforests to protect them.
