The Doctors of El Rincon Pet Hospital:

Dr. Jennifer Smith graduated from the University of Illinois in 1990.  She practiced veterinary medicine in Chicago for 18 years before moving to New Mexico in 2008.  She has an Irish Setter and an Australian Cattle Dog and is enjoying getting to know New Mexico.

Dr. Melloy was born and raised in Albuquerque. He studied wildlife biology at New Mexico State University and biology at the University of New Mexico. He graduated with a DVM from Colorado State University in 1993. Dr. Melloy's early experience as a mobile exotics doctor has developed to include small animal medicine, endoscopic techniques and orthopedics.

Dr. Argeres has lived in Albuquerque from a young age. She graduated from New Mexico State University in 1990 with a degree in Animal Science, and received her DVM from Colorado State University in 1994. After practicing in Colorado and Albuquerque at full-service hospitals, she decided to open her own holistic practice, Argeres Animal Alternatives, in 2003. Two years later, she completed her training as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and has made acupuncture and massage the focus of her practice. Dr. Argeres enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog, Chi.
