Pannone LLP are hearing of ongoing health problems in resort with internet review sites claiming dozens of people are affected. It is further reported that numerous people required hospital treatment for symptoms consistent with food poisoning. Guests complain of food being left uncovered and flies on the food. General hygiene in resort is questioned by those taken ill.
Clare Campbell advises that anyone affected should "keep any evidence of illness such as medical receipts for treatment and ensure that the illness is officially reported in resort and a complaint form completed. A copy of the form should be given to the guest to keep. On return home you should consult your GP to try to identify exactly what the illness was."
We would be very interested to hear from any holidaymakers that have suffered from a similar illness. If you have suffered from food poisoning whilst abroad, then call our specialist litigation solicitors for immediate advice.
