After Closing out the MTV Video Music Awards Lil Wayne Released Tha Carter 4 free download

Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- August 28, at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles - MTV held their annual Video Music Awards, where viewers across the world hand clicked their votes in to the MTV polls, picking their favorite artist's videos.

Several appearances and performances were highlighted and talked about repeatedly. Memorable moments included Jay-Z and Kanye West's surprise performance for their song "Otis". Lady Gaga had  a performance dressing up as "Lady Gaga's boyfriend". Beyonce shows her stomach after being pregnant for several months. Russel Brand, Tony Bennett and Bruno Mars were paying tribute to Amy Winehouse. Lil Wayne cloed out the awards with an unforgettable guitar smashing performance.

At the ceremony, Katy Perry won three awards, including top prize Video of the Year for "Firework". Adele also won three awards, all in the technical fields, including Best Cinematography and Best Editing for "Rolling in the Deep". American pop singer Britney Spears was awarded Best Pop Video for "Till The World Ends", as well the MTV Video Vanguard Award and a special tribute for her contributions to music videos and pop culture. Lady Gaga also won two awards, including Best Female Video for "Born This Way". Other winners were Beyonce Knowles, for Best Choreography,Justin Bieber, as  Best Male Video, Tyler, the Creator, who become the Best New Artist -  Nicki Minaj won Best Hip-Hop Video , Kanye West ,shared with Perry won The Best Collaboration , Foo Fighters, Wons Best Rock Video and the Beastie Boys got the award for the Best Direction.

On 29. August, after MTV VMAs, Lil Wayne finally released his long anticipated Tha Carter IV . In the three years since Lil Wayne announced the fourth part of his Carter series, the New Orleans MC released three albums, several mixtapes, won four Grammys, signed two superstars - Drake and Nicki Minaj,welcomed three children into the world, served 8 months in New York’s Rikers Island for gun possession and has seen C4 pushed back several times, among other things.
