Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Once in a while, a children's book comes along that proves to be just as popular with adults as it is with children.  Cheryl Gettman's new book, Molly Magee and The Jelly Bean Tree, is one of those stories.

This rhyming book appeals to children and adults through beautiful illustrations bursting with color and a message reminding everyone that the key to achieving your dreams is to believe in yourself.

"This is one of those stories that you and your children will have fun reading together," says Barbara Johnson, a 40-year education industry veteran and current student teacher supervisor. "It is irresistible."

Molly Magee and The Jelly Bean Tree is a story about a first grader named Molly who just loves jelly beans. But one day she awakens to discover that she only has one jelly bean left.  Teased by the other kids around for her wild hopes and dreams, Molly stays true to herself and ends up as the queen of her own dreams. The story's themes include believing in yourself, perseverance, being authentic, and creative imagination.

"The mission for Molly Magee and The Jelly Bean Tree is to inspire children to believe in themselves and their dreams," says the author. "I also have a greater vision for all children to achieve anything they set their minds and hearts to.  I am delighted to use my extensive experience in teaching and boundless love for children in a positive and inspiring way."

Molly Magee and The Jelly Bean Tree retails for $12.99 and is available through the book's website: http://www.thejellybeantreebook.com and through http://www.amazon.com
