Laura S. Withrow Joins Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton LLP as Employment Law Partner

Aug. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- OXNARD, CALIF.—Ventura County-based law firm Nordman Cormany Hair & Compton, LLP announced that Laura S. Withrow has joined the firm as a partner in its Employment & Labor practice group.

   A civil litigator for 15 years, Withrow has practiced exclusively for the last nine years in employment law and litigation. Her practice includes wrongful discharge, discrimination and harassment litigation in both state and federal courts, wage and hour claim defense (including representative and class actions) and management training. Withrow has worked with all sizes of companies in employment matters from small privately held companies to national and international publicly traded companies.  She is also a frequent speaker on employment law topics. Previously, Withrow was an associate with Landegger, Baron, Lavenant & Ingber in Encino.

   Withrow is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit, multiple U.S. District Courts and the Supreme Courts of Massachusetts and California. She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Labor and Employment Section.

   Withrow received her B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her J.D. from the University of Southern California.
