Fluff Ice's weekend sales sets new record

Aug. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- In conjunction with Unique's Modeling Contest in Atlantic Times Square and temperatures averaging 90 degrees, customers found relief at Fluff Ice, setting a new weekend sales record for the one-of-a-kind dessert shop.

"Unique's Modeling Contest brought over 500 people to the plaza. Having the contest in front of Fluff Ice also helped to get a lot of customers into the store, especially those that had never tried Fluff Ice before," says co-owner David Wang.

Along with Unique's Modeling contest, a lot of customers also came to Fluff Ice to escape the high temperatures, which averaged over 90 degrees this weekend.

"The store is extremely busy when it is hot outside. Our most popular combination has become the Original Fluff topped with fresh strawberries, mangoes, and condensed milk. We always run out of fruit by the end of the weekend!" remarks employee Ashlee Lam.

The modeling contest, along with the heat, brought in record sales for the weekend as well as set a new one-day record for gross sales. While the exact sales numbers were not disclosed, by 5pm Sunday, Fluff Ice was already sold out of Taro and Original Fluff Ice.
