Lori Seidenberg is a vice president in the Enterprise Risk Management division of Centerline Capital Group (“Centerline”)
, a subsidiary of Centerline Holding Company that provides real estate financial and asset management services with a focus on affordable and conventional multifamily housing. Ms. Seidenberg serves as its Corporate Insurance Risk Manager, where she is responsible for placement of all corporate lines of insurance. She also is responsible for managing all insurance policies, procedures and oversight of property level insurance compliance for Centerline’s current portfolio, which includes asset management services for 1,300 affordable housing properties throughout the US and $9 billion of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA mortgage loans the Company originated and currently services. Ms. Seidenberg has over 20 years of diversified experience in the insurance industry in personal and commercial insurance. Her expertise covers risk management, including enterprise risk management, claims, underwriting, insurance consulting and mortgage loan insurance compliance. Prior to joining Centerline in 2008, Ms. Seidenberg was a Senior Risk Manager with the Fannie Mae Housing and Community Development Group in Washington, D.C., where she was responsible for all multifamily insurance oversight, including establishing guidelines, and monitoring policies and procedures.
Ms. Seidenberg is a member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS). She is a member of the 2011 RIMS Board of Directors and serves as Director of Standards & Practices and Audit Committee. From 2008 – 2010, she served on the New York Chapter RIMS Board of Directors and as an active member of RIMS External Affairs Committee, participating in local, state and federal discussions on insurance and risk management. She was the 2010 and 2011 Vice Chair of the Insurance Stakeholders Roundtable of the Mortgage Bankers Association’
s Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) Servicer Committee. In addition to her RIMS and MBA involvement, Ms. Seidenberg is also a Fellows member of the Council on Litigation Management (CLM) and a participant in Spencer Education Foundation’s Risk Manager in Residence Program. Ms. Seidenberg earned the Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University at Northridge. She holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is a RIMS Fellow (RF) candidate. Ms. Seidenberg was named in Treasury and Risk’s October 2008 edition as one of its Top 40 financial executives under the age of 40.
