Texas Author Releases Inspired New Christian Book

Having the fundamental understanding that the good news of the Gospel is liberty and not bondage, in answering the call of her own life Dorth has exposed many of the devices within the Body of Christ that are used to hold Christians hostages unaware. Dorth created this book with the hope that those within the church would make the distinction between being a religious worshipper and living in an intimate relationship with a loving God.

More specifically, TRAPPED is intended to shed light on the horrors of religious traps that include the deception of religious doctrines, conformity and traditionalism, misguided emphasis of material possessions, and lastly, cultic behavior, all of which presents a problem to the people of God when they enter into worship with Him. Dorth gives practical illustration of how many churches market the name of Jesus, seeking His goods rather than His favor. In TRAPPED, the message to the Church is to avoid these religious traps by simply lifting up the name of Jesus..Jesus has promised beforehand that He will give us exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think.

Being blinded by preconceptions of God, the Christian Church has developed a fixed idea of God, which has caused many Christians to believe they know God, when they really do not. TRAPPED paints a clear picture of how one can be a devoted churchgoer and still be lost in the cadence of churchanity.
