Hurricane Irene Blows Xander Demos Guitar Convention Clinic Out Of The Water

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 27, 2011 - Because of the expected high winds, rain and flooding from the effects of Hurricane Irene, Sunday's Guitar Con NJ events, including the clinic by guitar virtuoso, Xander Demos, have been cancelled.  There is no make up date planned.  A statement by Xander was posted on his Facebook page earlier today saying, "Well, mother nature is being a real biotch and it appears that the Guitar Con is off for tomorrow in New Jersey. So, I will not be doing my clinic this time around but I'll try to do another one soon."

Xander Demos is a renowned rock guitarist, best known for his blazingly fast, yet melodic style.  He is endorsed by Suhr and McNaught guitars, among others, and makes frequent appearances at NAMM Conventions.  Xander has provided direct support for acts like Lizzy Borden, Kip Winger, UFO, and Neil Zaza.  A September 27th show is scheduled for Pittsburgh, PA with Dio Disciples.
