Aug. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The RX8353A is a 3U rack mount chassis made of heavy duty, cold rolled steel. This front rack mount rackmount server has a chassis that comes with 2 x open hot swappable open HD drive bay and 2 x USB ports. The front panel controls include on/off switch, one system reset button and LEDS to monitor power and hard drive alone with two 80mm and one 60mm cooling fans provide air circle inside the housing. The RX8353A is a 15.7" short depth 3U rackmount chassis and is black in color.
The chassis comes with two open SATA hot swappable open drive tray, one 3.5" & one 5.25" open drive bays. Standard configuration includes a DVD and an 80GB SATA hard drive, but other configurations are available.
The Intel server board supports an Intel Core 2 Duo or dual processor, onboard video, audio and Ethernet. Four DDR2 DIMM socket (8GB Max) and an optional RAID controller card are also placed in the unit to support RAID level 1 and 0. The multi expansion slots are available for the PCI-E video card upgrade (may be limited by size) and other add-on card to be installed. Standard expansion slots configuration include one PCI Express x 16, two PCI Express x 8, and three PCI 32bit/33MHz slots.
The chassis come with single 480W 2U type ATX power supply with an option for 300/400W 2U type redundant power supply. The rack mounting kit comes with standard 19 inch rack mount mounting holes for standard 19 inch rack cabinet.
