Russell Bedford accounting group welcomes its first correspondent in Saudi Arabia

Aug. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The international audit and accounting group Russell Bedford has selected the Riyadh-based firm AlHoshan Certified Public Accountants & Consultants as its first correspondent in Saudi Arabia.

AlHoshan was established in 1993 as a group of professionals delivering audit, accounting, consultancy and IT business solutions to both the public and private sectors.

The chairman and founding partner, Omar AlHoshan is a Certified Public Accountant in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.  He is a member of the Saudi Organisation of Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) and is a Certified Management Consultant and Certified Economic Consultant.  He has worked with many of the leading companies in Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries in the areas of accounting, auditing, business performance and restructuring, financial solutions and technology.  As a member of the Saudi Business Process Engineering Committee, he is instrumental in business improvement initiatives in Saudi Arabia.  He sits on numerous boards including the Arab National Bank Investment Fund Board and is a frequent speaker at venues such as the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Ahmed Baraka is director of the firm’s accounting and audit services. He has a PhD with a major in Accounting and has some 20 years of professional experience throughout the Middle East and Africa. He is a CPA (Saudi Arabia), member of SOCPA, member of the Egyptian Tax Association, Member of the Arab Management Accounting & Costing Association, and Member of the Arab Federation of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a member of numerous SOCPA committees, including the Audit & Compliance Committee.

Khalid Bardaweel is also a principal in the firm. He is a Certified Auditor and Certified Financial Consultant with 20 years’ experience specialising in tax and Zakat.  He has served as an expert witness in numerous litigation cases in Saudi Arabia in relation to bankruptcies, tax and Zakat.
