MonkeySports acquires two additional store locations

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- MonkeySports, Inc., the largest retailer of hockey and lacrosse equipment in the US, has purchased the property to locate two new Superstores.  The first was acquired in May 2011 and is located in Norwood, MA, and the second was acquired in July 2011 and is located in Irvine, CA.  The MA store is approximately 36,000 sq.ft., and the CA store approximately 26,000 sq.ft.  Both will open following remodeling.  

These acquisitions add to the earlier purchase of its Superstore location in Woodbridge, NJ in October 2009, which opened in 2010.

MonkeySports offers premium ice and roller hockey, goalie, lacrosse and baseball equipment.  Its Internet business operates under the websites http://www.hockeymonkey.com, http://www.goaliemonkey.com, http://www.lacrossemonkey.com and http://www.homerunmonkey.com.
