Gold Coast Owners Challenge Congressmen to Help Create More Jobs

Tamarac, FL – August 24, 2011 –Jim and John Greer, Owners of Gold Coast Schools—Florida’s largest real estate, insurance, and construction school—attended the National Federation of Independent Business with Keynote Speaker, Allen West on August 15, 2011. “Congressman West certainly seems to have a handle on where the country is going, and what needs to be done to create jobs” said Jim Greer.

On Tuesday 8/16/2011 John Greer attended a town hall meeting at Greenacres city hall with Congressman Ted Deutch as the speaker.  Greer noted that while the two events were very different, people’s concerns were the same… jobs, jobs, jobs.   Greer asked Congressman Deutch specifically about what can be done to help get capital back into the markets to help small businesses, and especially the real estate market.  “His answers were very non-committal” said Greer, “however, we as citizens can keep asking and keep pressuring until Washington does what is needed.”

With the real estate market typically representing close to 30% of GDP in the United States, Jim and John Greer believe that the way to improve the overall economy and get people back to work is through opening the flow of capital, so that small businesses can borrow and expand, and more people can realize the American dream of home ownership.
