Supadü Releases Roadmap for "Supertwo"

Aug. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Supadü, the WYSIWYG content management system full of innovative drag-and-drop apps, has launched its roadmap towards the new version which their team has nicknamed 'Supatwo'.

The new release, due out in the first half of 2012, is the culmination of discussion between key stake holders and a survey of Supadü's clients including Simon & Schuster, Discovery Channel, Fisher German, Allen & Unwin, Third Millennium Information, Bloomsbury Publishing, and Egmont UK.

The Supadü customer survey's findings include:

* The top three things that users liked about Supadü were its unique drag & drop functionality, ease of use and the way that users can very quickly build great looking websites. This reflects Supadü’s unique ability to empower non-technical people to quickly and easily become webmasters.

* Typical clients are self-starters who like to quickly teach themselves how to use functions through Google-like help pages and brief YouTube video tutorials - therefore avoiding the need for technical people interrupting their WYSIWYG experience.

* Desire for even more apps to facilitate search and social media functionality.

* An increasing number of users are building sites on the move using ipads and similar portable devices.

* The top two most desired developments centred around ways to perform bulk actions to elements and files - therefore saving even more time.

* Reflecting how many of Supadü's clients utilise the array of social media apps, further enhancement and proliferation of these tools was also high on the agenda. Supadü's app library currently consists of such social media tools as the Twitter Tweet App, Facebook App and Blogger App.

The Supadü team has responded to calls from users for even more video tutorials and further powerful apps which are made to be simple to integrate and deploy. As well as a host of new help pages, over 20 video tutorials are planned for the about.supadu.com site and their YouTube channel, Supadü TV.

New mobile and tablet friendly apps to be launched in the build up to 'Supatoo' include:

The eCard App: Users can add an eCard engine to their page containing their own images and allowing site visitors to send an interactive postcard to friends.

The User Upload Gallery App: Customers will be able to create an image gallery of their own images and/or allow others within their organisation to upload their own. This app includes moderation functionality and allows for user comments in each image.

The Book Search App: Tailored towards our publishing clients, Supadü is due to release an app which gives customers the ability to add a full featured keyword and browse book search to their sites. This app Includes a backend database admin tool to let users edit and manage their book data.
