“It will be a wonderfully entertaining and fun evening of great music. The band has evolved into one of the top leaders among jazz and swing bands in the world,” says Jeff Rudin, Big Brothers Big Sisters board member and concert chairperson. "I also hope the evening increases awareness that many children throughout Ventura County are in urgent need of mentoring."
Sponsors of the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert are Wells Fargo Bank, Summit Business Management, Gold Coast Broadcasting, Ventura County Star, Playlist 92.7 FM, Santa Barbara Bank & Trust, Nate 'n Al, Line 6, SIGNARAMA and Jane Ebensteiner.
A silent auction will take place during the evening. "We have collected some spectacular auction items, true treasures that our guests will certainly enjoy,” says Rudin.
All proceeds from the concert and auction will support existing child-mentor matches and will enable the development of new matches for children waiting for their perfect "Big." Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County is committed to helping children facing adversity to reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one adult mentoring relationships.
