"I wasn't sure how the schedule would work out, " Green said, "But the buzz from our appearance with Keith (Urban), and Jake Owen has really pushed my music to a higher place and I just want to continue that level of performing."
Regional acts and Louisville music scene favorites scheduled to perform are Brigitte Donoho, defining Ezra, Honeywagon, the Jake Parker Band with Younger than Noah out of Indianapolis. The festival will be introducing—
The music festival begins the day with its Hope 5K Run/Walk for Water beginning at the Jeffersonville, River Stage at 8:00 o’clock AM EST. The race runs along Riverside Drive to the Falls of the Ohio State Park and back for what should be a magnificent new race course for runners.
The festival is also calling for an open casting call for 2000 dancers to participate in the festival’s “Dance Your Shoes Off,” flash mob and video shoot. Clean Socks Hope, the charity behind the festival is partnering with Louisville nonprofit EDGE Outreach and Jeffersonville feeding ministry Jesus Cares at Exit 0 along with numerous church partners to sponsor the 2011 Hope Music Festival featuring Addison Road. The festival still has openings for local artisans, businesses and ministries who would like to participate.
