PRLog -- The KD 9178 is constructed of heady duty steel and is strong enough to be able to withstand even the harshest weather conditions. It features a 17.3-inch LED-backlight wide screen LCD panel which connects to the on board conversion board and supports a 1600 x 900 display resolution. The LCD monitor comes with standard 15-pin VGA connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for your system connection and includes an OSD function lets you adjust the LCD monitor for the best view. All the OSD buttons are located on the front of the LCD monitor for easier access and the monitor can be tilted to a 90 degree horizontal angle. I/O features such as USB ports provide the basis for a broad range of graphic interface uses, while additional features, like dual slide rails, improve long term reliability and provide ease of maintenance. The 107-keys rubber keyboard and two buttons Hula point device are mounted on the front of the rackmount drawer underneath the LCD monitor. Both of them connect to a standard USB type connector on the back of the rackmount drawer for you Sun system connection and the industrial silicon rubber keyboard and Hula point device can be water and dust proof. Most of these computers are specifically designed for industrial control and server applications in industrial environments, but the versatility and use of this computer can also be applied for Web Server, File Server, Firewall, Proxy Server and VPN Gateway Applications. While most pre configured systems are focused in networking environments, these exceptional systems are specifically engineered for ease deployment to field for embedded solution requirements. Built with massive durability and resistance to industrial contaminants such as water, dirt, oil and grease, nothing can get past this rackmount drawer.
