Chappaqua Outdoor Live Rock Fest 2011 Set For 9.17.11 4-8pm

Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Chappaqua Rocks is hosting a live music event on September 17, 2011 from 4-8pm on behalf of the Town of Chappaqua. The stage is right on the Gazebo next to the Chappaqua Town Hall, and there is a $5 Admission fee. All proceeds go directly to the Town of Chappaqua as a fundraiser for youth support programs and town improvements.

Chappaqua Rocks has a mission to bring today's youth closer to the community through the artistic expression of music. Their goal is to provide a place where students can find a place to connect with themselves and others, and have an enriching activity to look forward to after school. Friendships made at Chappaqua Rocks can last a lifetime!

The performers of the bands in this Outdoor Rock Festival in Westchester are students and faculty of Chappaqua Rocks, as well as a special performance by Dave Bickler. Dave Bickler is the grammy award winning singer of the song "Eye of the Tiger" by the group Survivor. Dave also offers his mentoring services to the students of Chappaqua Rocks.
