The Cape & Islands Green standard focuses on a wide spectrum of improvements, using both minimum thresholds and flexible levels of implementation. Improvement examples include ZeroEnergy Design’s reduced business energy consumption, the decision to purchase of 100% renewable energy, waste reduction through recycling and reuse efforts, honed buying practices that focus on environmentally compatible products, and employee education about fuel efficient transportation choices.
